COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A fatal crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Naples was causing heavy traffic Thursday morning.
The crash was reported around 1 a.m. at the exit for Immokalee Road at mile marker 111.
Troopers were forced to close two northbound lanes and the off ramp at the exit until 7:15 am.
No word yet from troopers about any vehicles or victims involved in the crash.
Also Thursday morning, a crash near mile marker 108 northbound at 7:22 a.m. briefly caused a complete closure of all traffic lanes. Troopers were able to open two northbound lanes at that scene about 20 minutes later.
