LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers man died in a crash at the entrance to Shell Factory in North Fort Myers on Saturday.
It happened on North Cleveland Avenue (U.S. 41) around 2:30 p.m.
Troopers say 88-year-old Henry Cook, Sr. pulled out of the driveway for the Shell Factory into the path of a northbound car. The car's driver attempted to swerve around the car but was unable to.
The two vehicles collided, killing Cook at the scene.
The other driver was uninjured.
No charges have been filed in the crash.
