COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — One man is dead after a crash that happened near Naples Boulevard on Thursday.
Robert Damon, 80, was the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox, which for unknown reasons veered off the road and struck a tree, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, but pronounced dead from injuries on Friday. FHP said the accident remains under investigation.
