FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department is investigating a home invasion that left a family dog injured after being shot.
The incident happened on Thomas Street in Fort Myers overnight.
FMPD says they are searching for two male suspects wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts.
The family dog is receiving medical treatment at a local veterinarian at this time.
