Early morning shooting at Scarlett's Cabaret leaves one dead in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A man was shot and killed outside of Scarlett's Cabaret, a gentleman's club, early Saturday morning.

Fort Myers Police responded to the lounge located at 3650 Fowler Street at approximately 2:00 a.m.

Officers located the victim, Rogerio Anjos, 32, suffering from a gunshot wound in the the parking lot. He was later transported to the Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

Anjos died shortly after as a result of his injuries.

Investigators say Anjos and a friend were leaving the lounge's parking lot when they engaged in a verbal altercation with three males. The altercation quickly escalated and Anjos was shot by one of the three men. All three subjects entered one car and left the scene.

All three men are described as black males in their 20's. They were last seen leaving the parking lot in a dark colored hatchback car with a yellow and blue New York State License plate.
