FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We're pushing for more information right now about a deputy presence Friday morning at Gulf Coast Town Center.
It happened around 2 a.m.
Authorities have not commented on the investigation, but we're hearing from a bar employee that says a group of people held down a security guard near the Belk and beat him.
The worker says the group ran off once deputies arrived and the man appeared to have been beaten.
A mall worker told us the security guard is expected to be ok.
