A high school honored their coach in a surprise tribute at the team's final home game.
Andre McGill helped start the basketball program at Dunbar High School. He's been at the helm for the past 18 years.
The community, school, and his players teamed up for the tribute. They presented McGill with a signed ball and decorative plaque for his service.
McGill got emotional when the gym surprised him with the honor.
"I gave back to the community I come from and that means a lot," said McGill. "I donated a lot of time here to help others," he added.
Tuesday night's game versus Ida Baker was also senior night.
