LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District responded to a dryer fire last night.
The incident happened on Greenwood Ave.
The crew quickly removed the smoking appliance from the residence and extinguished the smoldering clothes.
LAFCRD reminds people that in addition to cleaning the lint filter, it’s important to check the outdoor vent to ensure it’s clear as well.
