NAPLES, Fla. -- Collier County deputies, working with the United States Postal Investigative Services, say they have seized more that $179,000 worth of narcotics in a recent operation.
The operation took place over the last three weeks, and resulted in the seizure of 54.5 pounds of marijuana, 93 grams of marijuana wax, and 8.5 ounces of crack cocaine.
The drugs were destined to, or originated from, locations in Southwest Florida.
“This represents great work by our detectives and our partners with U.S. Postal Investigative Services,” Collier County Sheriff Rambosk said. “We will continue to work to keep Collier County free of illegal drugs.”
