LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash involving an 80-year-old in Lehigh Acres.
The crash happened just after noon yesterday.
FHP says the driver suffered a medical emergency while driving on Joel Boulevard.
The drivers’ vehicle drove off the roadway into a vacant lot and collided with a tree.
The driver was transported to Lee Memorial and was later pronounced deceased.
