FORT MYERS, Fla. -- An active investigation is underway following a heavy deputy presence off of U.S. 41.
It happened around 4:45 a.m. Monday morning at the Circle K near Page Field.
The scene cleared up around 5:00 a.m.
A Fox 4 crew on scene said they saw a man with a bloody shirt on a stretcher. They said the man was awake and alert.
Deputies on scene declined to comment, other than to say this is an active investigation.
