Two people, from Rhode Island, were arrested after attempting to leave a Marco Island restaurant without paying the bill, according to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report.

Deputies responded to Margarita' Restaurant Friday night in reference to two people who were refusing to pay their bill.

The owner of the restaurant advised deputies that 32-year-old Rebekah Cole and Jake Fernandez of Rhode Island ordered several items which totaled $163.40.

The two are accused of arguing and leaving the restaurant several times without paying the bill, according to a CCSO report.

When deputies arrived to the scene, Fernandez tried paying for the bill with a credit card, but it was quickly denied. Cole then admitted she was not carrying money to pay the bill.

The two were both arrested and transported to the Naples Jail Center.

Their charges include Obtaining Food or Lodging with Intent to Defraud.
