Deputies search man who held up a Metro PCS store

FORT MYERS, Fla — Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers needs your help locating an armed suspected who held up a Metro PCS store in Fort Myers Monday night.

They say the man is in his 50s, approximately 5'5" with a thin build, salt, pepper colored hair, and short beard stubble.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a multi-colored logo and a red face mask.

Investigators say the man entered the store on Palm Beach Boulevard, walked up to the counter, and pointed a black revolver at the clerk.

They say the man gave the clerk a plastic shopping bag and demanded all the money in the register.

Investigators say the man left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
