FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies responded to an incident where a person was barricaded in a home around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Hostage Negotiation Team, and SWAT were originally called out to the 7800 block of Breeze Drive for a sex crime, according to deputies.
Deputies said the negotiation took several hours, but they finally gained cooperation and took the person into custody without any injuries.
