CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have arrested a man who they say broke into a business office and used his time inside to surf the internet and post an sign advertising a job opening.
28-year-old Jeffrey Bellomo, listed as homeless, is charged with Burglary, Grand Theft Auto, and Petit Theft.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, on APril 27th, a man was seen on surveillance images entering the Custom Pools by Precision office on Tamiami Trail. While inside, deputies say he proceeded to make himself at home by using the business computer to surf the web and helped himself to some beverages located in the refrigerator. He also posted a sign in the business window, "Secretary wanted $17.00 per hour."
Detectives posted an image of the suspect on social media, and hours later they received a tip identifying the man as Bellomo.
