CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at the Riverside Boat Ramp on Riverside Drive in Punta Gorda.

Deputies say it happened around 1:20 p.m. Witnesses say 3 vehicles arrived at the boat ramp, after a few minutes a white male fired several rounds from one vehicle at the other. No one was injured. The white male shooter fled on foot with a white female.

A Spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office says they are investigating a home in connection with the shooting. There is no threat to the community.

The White male is described as 20-30 years of age, with short black hair. He is wearing jeans, a dark shirt, and boots. The white female is also described as 20-30 years old, thin, with dirty blonde hair.
It appears as though the people involved were all familiar with each other.
