Lee County Deputies are investigating a Twitter threat made against Three Oaks Middle School.

On Tuesday, a secretary at the school says she got a call from a company who says they monitor social media threats. The company said they found a tweet that read "there are two people threatening to come to our school and shoot please pray for Three Oaks everyone."

The secretary reported this information. Students whose names matched the account where the tweets were posted were questioned. It was later determined none of those students had Twitter accounts.

**UPDATE** -- According to School District  of Lee County, the threat was traced to a school named Three Oaks in Tennessee, and was not connected to the Three Oaks Middle School in Estero.
