Deion Sanders named head coach at Jackson State

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla — Former North Fort Myers Red Knight and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is officially Jackson State's head football coach.

The university made an official announcement on Facebook.

Sanders will be the 21st head football coach of the university.

He is currently an Offensive coordinator at Trinity Christian School in Texas and will start with the Tigers in the Spring.

He will be replacing John Hendrick
