LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Lee County residents are encouraged to start gathering items to be picked up starting on November 13th. This is the second and final opportunity to get rid of any yard debris including tree stumps that were not removed when crews picked up items the first time around.
A Lee County spokesperson said residents should continue to keep piles of construction and demolition, such as roofing materials, separate from landscaping.
On the Lee County website a graph shows crews have collected 462,480 cubic yards of debris since September 16th.
Residents can continue to use the public drop-off sites.
