PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla -- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash that killed a pedestrian on Saturday.
It happened on Cochran Blvd. near the US-41 intersection.
Deputies said a dump truck struck a pedestrian.
Cochran Blvd. is currently shut down on the Lakeview West side, by the post office, as the investigation continues.
