LEHIGH ACRES, Fla., - Lanes are open after a crash left one person dead in Lehigh Acres, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP says the crash happened around 3:30 Friday morning on State Road 82 between Homestead Road South and Nimitz Road.
Florida Highway Patrol and the Lee County Sheriff's Office closed the road completely to investigate the crash, and drivers had to use Meadow Road as a detour.
The Fox 4 crew on scene saw what appeared to be a Hyundai Elantra being towed away from the scene.
