COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies have charged a 36-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with the death of an East Naples man.
David Badger was arrested Tuesday at the Collier County jail where he has been since his March 29 arrest on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Deputies say Badger attacked Travis Peak, 34, with a piece of wood during an early morning argument at Peak’s residence at 3190 Karen Drive.
Peak died April 7 after being hospitalized in critical condition since the March 29 attack.
