Crime stoppers search for man who made bomb threat calls

LEE COUNTY, Fla — Crime Stoppers need your help identifying a man who is a suspect in a recent bomb threat.

It happened on August 28th.

Investigators say a man called the Lee County Clerk of Courts Office and threatened to blow up the courthouse in one hour before hanging up.

They say three minutes later, the caller made a similar call and threatened the federal courthouse located across the street.

Detectives say the man purchased a phone at a Collier County Walmart and later got rid of it after making the calls.

The man is suspected of making the calls, but his identity is still unknown.

Investigators believe he may live in or frequent the Lehigh Acres area.
