Crews are clearing trees on the toxic Dunbar sludge site throughout the next week, according to the City of Fort Myers.
The trees will be mulched on-site after all trees and stumps are removed. The mulch from the tops of the trees will be recycled and utilized for projects around Fort Myers.
The stumps will be disposed of at the Lee Hendry Landfill. It is anticipated that this project will continue for the next two weeks.
