HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - The southbound inside and center lanes of I-75 are closed currently and will remain so due to a crash late last night.
A four-vehicle crash was reported last night on I-75 near Gibsonton Drive, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to a report, one vehicle was traveling southbound on I-75 when the driver lost control and struck a trailer being towed by another vehicle. The first vehicle then swerved back to strike a different vehicle, causing that vehicle to strike the fourth vehicle.
The outside southbound lane of I-75 opened this morning, but Florida Highway Patrol said drivers should expect significant southbound delays and use US-301 and US-41 as alternate routes if possible.
