CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a Cape Coral crash is causing backups along Pine Island Road Tuesday morning.
According to Cape Coral Police, the crash is in the 1000 block of NE Pine Island Road, between Andalusia Boulevard and Del Prado Boulevard North, and happened around 8 a.m.
Westbound traffic is down to one lane, causing heavy backups is both directions.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible for about two hours.
