One person is dead after an early morning accident involving a pedestrian.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Just before 5:30 Thursday morning, the victim was trying to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 41 near the 7-Eleven south of Palm drive when they were struck by a car.
Investigators say the victim did not use the crosswalk and was wearing dark, non-reflective clothing.
The name of the victim has not been released yet.
