Corkscrew Middle student brings knife to school

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. --- Collier County Sheriff's Office have arrested a student after bringing a knife to school. 

Investigators say the knife was found in the students locker at Corkscrew Middle School on Monday.

Authorities searched the students locker after they received a tip claiming the student posted a picture of the weapon on social media. 

There was no threats posted along with the picture. 

The student is charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds, which is a felony.
