Smoke and ash covered Sanibel Island Tuesday.
It all came from a prescribed burn of the Botanical Site there.

Southern Florida and Caribbean Fire District of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service conducted the burn.
It urged people in the area to close their windows, cover pools, move cars and furniture indoors and stay indoors.
The unit warns occasional smoke could be seen from the burned area for several days.
