For those of you looking to cool down in the heat, some local pools will be closed.
Four community pools in Lee County will close for training, starting next Wednesday, June 5.
All lifeguards will be conducting annual training, testing skills, and practicing drills to keep families safe all summer.
The affected pools are:
- Lehigh Community Pool, 1400 W. Fifth St., Lehigh Acres
- North Fort Myers Community Pool, 5170 Orange Grove Blvd., North Fort Myers
- Pine Island Community Pool, 5675 Sesame Drive, Pine Island
- San Carlos Community Pool, 8208 Sanibel Blvd., Fort Myers
They will re-open at 12:30 pm, Thursday, June 6.
