COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — 21-year-old Jorge Ingunza appeared before a judge Thursday to face multiple charges of extortion, possession of child pornography and transmission of child pornography.
According to a police report, Ingunza coerced one of the victims to give him their Snapchat username and password, or obtained that information through a compromised account.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office says Ingunza changed the account's backup password and e-mail address. They say Ingunza downloaded nude pictures the user had of themselves then threatened to post them publicly unless the user sent him more nude photos.
The sheriff's office says the victims were between 13 and 18 years old, six of them live in Collier County, two others live in Colorado.
Ingunza's bond was set at $40,000 on all charges. His lawyer declined to speak with Fox 4.
