COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives are investigating a report in which a teen told deputies that a man in a white, newer model 4-door car tried to get her to approach him on two separate occasions.

The 14-year-old girl told deputies that the man around two weeks ago first approached her after getting out of school and walking home by the Brittany Bay Apartment community in Golden Gate.

The driver was by himself and told her to come over to his car. The girl started to the man she was ok and continued walking to her home.
The same incident then happened again on Thursday, Sept. 19 as she got off the bus and was walking home.

A report was made to the CCSO about both occurrences Friday afternoon.

Deputies said the passenger is described as black with black hair, brown eyes, and black facial hair. He is approximately 18-21 years old.
Deputies are conducting extra patrols in the area.
