A Collier County man was arrested Tuesday after deputies say he broke into his roommate's bedroom and stole two handguns.

The landlord of the house they shared reported hearing several shots fired inside the room. Bradly Scot Robinson, 22, faces charges of grand theft, burglary, and criminal mischief.

According to a sheriff's office report, Sylvia Dubock, the landlord of the house, told deputies she was cleaning up a mess Robinson had made in the bathroom when he broke down the bedroom door of another tenant, grabbing two 9-millimeter handguns and firing about six shots while still inside the room.

Dubock reported that Robinson then went outside to wait for someone, and that she heard another shot fired. Deputies found him sitting on a bench in front of the house, and said he admitted breaking down the door and taking the guns, as well as some prescription medication and other items from the other tenant's room.

Deputies said they found all of those items in a backpack next to Robinson. They said Robinson told them that he believed the tenant had stolen the guns from him.

They said Robinson yelled very loudly while he was in the back of a patrol vehicle, and managed to rip off the inside handles to both rear doors.

He was booked into the Naples jail on $30,000 bond.
