COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County has the best drinking water in Southwest Florida.
A panel of judges at the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association ’s participated in a blind taste test, where water samples were judged on taste, color and aroma.
The panel chose Collier County on March 14th, 2019 as having the best tasting water.
The winner receives an award and bragging rights.
A statewide competition is being held on April 14th-17th in Tampa for a chance to win best tasting water in the state.
Collier County has won the competition twice before in 2012 and 2015.
