COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — The Collier County School Board voted to terminate Parkside Elementary teacher Hector Manley.
Collier County deputies arrested Manley Fridayand charged him with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of victims under 12.
Investigators say he fondled three students in his classroom during the 2017-2018 school year. The victims recently came forward.
Collier Schools spokesperson Chad Oliver said even if Manley is exonerated on the charges, he would be too much of a distraction to continue teaching.
Manley has a court appearance scheduled for March 25th.
