COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — FOX 4 has just learned that out of an “abundance of caution,” Collier County Public Schools will be closed on Monday due to Tropical Storm Eta.
CCPS worksites will be closed as well.
CCPS says there will also be no school for virtual students, and all after-school programs held at CCPS sites will be closed.
They are canceling all extracurricular activities, including athletic practices and competitions.
Adult and Community Education classes will be canceled as well.
A decision about if classes will resume on Tuesday will be made by 3:00 pm on Monday.
