CLEWISTON, Fla. -- Deputies arrested a man for trespassing Wednesday after he was seen walking on an elementary school campus without permission.

According to the Hendry County Sheriff's Office, the staff at Central Elementary witnessed the man enter the school's front door but say he did not have permission to enter the campus.

The man then walked back out the front door and headed toward Eastside Elementary one block away.

That school's resource officer was notified and deputies took the man into custody.

Both schools were placed on lockdown during the incident.

27-year-old Nathaniel Lee is charged with Trespassing and Resisting Arrest without violence.
