**UPDATE (7PM 10/19)** -- Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that Dawn Baker, the Principal at Temple Christian School, has passed away from injuries sustained in Thursday night's crash in Lehigh Acres.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A North Fort Myers school has canceled all activities after a tragic fatal crash Thursday took the life of an administrator and seriously injured their principal.

A 4-year-old child also died in the crash.

Temple Christian School asked to keep the Baker family in prayers in a Facebook post early Friday.

Troopers say that on Thursday evening, Chet Baker drove into the path of a speeding truck, which hit the left side of his car.  The crash killed Chet Baker, who is a supervisor at Temple Christian School, and 4-year-old Jamison Royce.  

Chet's wife Dawn Baker, the principal at Temple Christian, was critically injured in the crash.
