FORT MYERS, Fl — Interim Fire Chief Tracy McMillion was promoted to Chief of City of Fort Myers Fire Department.
McMillion served as a firefighter paramedic with the Fort Myers Fire Department and Iona McGregor Fire District. The Fort Myers Fire Department says, he was also promoted to Training Chief and Division Chief of Training in 2015.
He returned to the Fort Myers Fire Department in 2019 as Deputy Cheif. Following the resignation of Fire Chief John Caufield, McMillion was appointed Interim Chief in November.
Fort Myers Fire Department says McMillion has nearly 25 years of fire service in the community.
