CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police on the scene of Northeast 9th Street after a car reportedly hits a child.
According to investigators, the child was playing outside of his home, while riding his scooter when he was hit by a Black Kia.
The child suffering serious injuries was taken to the hospital, but the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police officers are looking to for the driver of the car who left the scene.
