A Charlotte County handyman is out of jail, accused of robbing a homeowner he was hired to do work for.
CHARLOTTE CO., Fla.—A handyman is under arrest, accused of robbing the homeowner, he was hired to help.
Charlotte County deputies arrested 43-year-old Clifton Cason last week. They say he was hired by the victim under the table to do some electrical work on his Port Charlotte home under renovation.
However, after witnessing sub-par work by Cason, the victim told Cason not to finish the work, and paid him 75% of the agreed-upon price.
Investigators say Cason eventually left, but later returned several times with a gun threatening to kill the victim.
