The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is investigating what it's calling an "accidental shooting" that killed one person in Port Charlotte.
The shooting happened at a home on Dorchester Street.
UPDATE: Victim has been identified as 22-year-old Joshua Jordan
Deputies told Four in Your Corner a group of people at the home were cleaning their guns when one accidentally went off, shooting and killing one person.
Deputies say this is an active investigation. Fox 4 will bring you more details as we get them.
