COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A car thief didn’t get far after he stole a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 50th anniversary edition.
The Fort Myers Police Department contacted the Collier County Sheriff’s Office once they learned the vehicle had a GPS.
The GPS showed the vehicle had traveled to Collier County.
Deputies located the vehicle in the area of the Courthouse Shadows shopping plaza off U.S. 41 East in East Naples.
Inside the vehicle was Chad Mitchell Fetty, 45 of Miami.
Fetty was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto.
