CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Customers who bought a Kia within the last month from a Cape Coral dealership were taking their best shot to get rid of their car payments Tuesday.
It was happening at Fuccillo Kia on Pine Island Road, as well as at Fuccillo dealerships in Port Charlotte, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater, and Orange Park.
Anyone who made a half-court shot attempt using a regulation-size ball and hoop would have their previously purchased or leased car paid off.
No luck Tuesday, though. No one at the Cape Coral dealership was able to make the shot.
However, a Bradenton man got his Kia Telluride paid off at Fuccillo Kia of Wesley Chapel, and a Jacksonville man got his Nissan Sentra paid off at Fuccillo Nissan of Orange Park by making the shot.
