LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash involving a pickup truck and pedestrian on San Carlos Blvd. and Kelly Rd. Saturday night.
Troopers say the driver of the pickup truck was traveling northbound on San Carlos Blvd.
The 34-year-old female pedestrian attempted to cross the northbound lanes of San Carlos Blvd. from the center median.
Troopers say the pickup truck collided with the pedestrian.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
