CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A Cape Coral man was sentenced to life in federal prison for producing child pornography, enticing a minor to engage in sexual conduct, and possessing child pornography.
Romeo Sanchez, 32 was arrested in 2017 for luring a 14-year-old child into a relationship with him.
Sanchez was a registered sex offender at the time.
A neighbor observed the girl leaving the middle of the night and getting into a vehicle that belonged to Sanchez.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Innocent Images Task Force and the Cape Coral Police Department.
