CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police shop with a cop is now accepting applications.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 14th.
The department chooses approximately 35-40 students to participate in the program every year.
Students are picked up by police escorts, taken to breakfast sponsored by McDonald’s, and then to Target to shop.
Cape Coral Police say to qualify the child must be available on December 14th, be in kindergarten through 12th grade, and the child and family must live in Cape Coral.
