Cape Coral considering adding a noise ordinance

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Council members in Cape Coral will continue talks Monday about keeping it quiet in the city.

They’re discussing the loud noise ordinance.

Back in July the discussion was tabled because the members wanted more public input.

The ordinance calls for a $150 fine for loud noises within 50 feet of your car, and 100 feet of your home.

The ordinance would have special rules that only apply to an area around Cape Coral Parkway and DE 47th Terrace between Coronado Parkway and Del Prado Bolevard South.
