CAPE CORAL, Fla.-- Businesses in Cape Coral are banding together to help rescue animals in the area.
Eight-Foot Brewingand Tiki Tails Dog Resortwill host "Barks and Brew" on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. The businesses will have specials so pet owners can grab a brew while their animals get groomed.
There will be other pet-friendly vendors at the celebration along with adoptable pets. Proceeds from the event will go to Paws Crossed.
The owners of Eight-Foot Brewing and Tiki Tails hope to make the block party a monthly event. Each month they want to help a different organization that aids shelter and rescue animals.
