CAPE CORAL, Fla.-- Council members are expected to move forward with a $60-million parks project. The city is considering approving contracts for the purchase of lots 93 and 94 in NW Cape Coral.

Those lots would be used for the future development of festival park. Currently, the city owns 449 of the 517 parcels required for the park. There's one additional property contract currently pending.

The council meeting starts at 4:30 P.M. It is open to the public.
